In 2003, Mike Little and Matt Mullenweg created a modified version of b2/cafelog blogging software. There was a need for an easy-to-use yet powerful platform for personal publishing, even back then. From that humble beginnings, WordPress now rules the web.

When we got started working with WordPress, the most frustrating aspect for a beginner was to find all the resources apart from the technologies in a single source. There are many sources to find the technologies, but very few sources to find out what people are making with WordPress.

People had to look in multiple places a day, for what was happening, even missing important events. That’s where “wpurls” comes in.
