WPURLs is a directory of WordPress news, tools, and product pricing. This policy explains what information WPURLs receives, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we receive
Information you send
- Contact requests: the details you enter in the contact form, such as your name, email address, subject, and message.
- Publisher suggestions: the publication name, website, feed URL, category, your email address, and any other information you submit.
- Pricing corrections: the product, reason, evidence URL, correction details, and an optional email address.
Do not send confidential or sensitive personal information through these forms.
Technical information
When you visit WPURLs, the site, its hosting provider, and Cloudflare may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and protect the service.
Some public forms use short-lived rate-limit records derived from an IP address and browser information. Pricing-report rate limits store a one-way hash rather than the original values.
How we use information
- To reply to questions and business enquiries.
- To review suggested publishers and reported pricing changes.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce the site’s rights.
WPURLs does not sell personal information.
Service providers and external sites
WPURLs uses service providers where necessary to run the site. These include Cloudflare for delivery and security, hosting and server infrastructure providers, and SMTP2GO for transactional email delivery. Contact and pricing-correction entries are processed and stored in WordPress using Fluent Forms. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Headlines and product listings link to independent websites. Some product links may be affiliate links. When you follow an external link, the destination receives information normally sent by your browser and its own privacy policy applies.
Some publisher images and favicons are loaded from the publisher, its content-delivery service, or Google’s favicon service. Those services may receive your IP address, browser information, and the address of the page requesting the image.
Cookies and local preferences
WPURLs does not offer public user accounts, comments, or uploads. Cloudflare may use essential security cookies. WordPress uses login cookies for site administrators.
The site stores limited preferences in your browser’s local storage, including the light or sepia theme, the time of your last visit for freshness labels, and pricing-table column choices. These values stay in your browser and are not used to identify you.
WPURLs does not currently offer a newsletter signup or run configured audience analytics. This policy will be updated before either form of collection is enabled.
Retention
Contact messages, publisher suggestions, and pricing corrections are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, review the submission, maintain an editorial record, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Transactional email logs are normally retained for 14 days. Security and server logs are rotated as part of routine operations. Short-lived rate-limit records expire automatically.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information WPURLs holds about you, request a correction or deletion, or object to its use where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, or record-keeping reasons.
Use the contact page for privacy requests. Include enough information for WPURLs to identify the relevant submission, but do not send sensitive identification documents unless requested.
Policy changes
This policy may change when the site or its services change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
