About WPURLs

WPURLs is one page that keeps up with WordPress news so you do not have to. Every 30 minutes we check 44 publishers, from the people who build WordPress itself to security researchers, SEO writers and job boards, and put their newest headlines in one place. There are 872 here right now.

It is for anyone who runs or works on a WordPress site and would rather not check twenty blogs to stay current.

We never republish anyone's article. We keep the headline, a short summary, who published it and when. Every link goes to the publisher who wrote the piece, and our RSS feed carries their links too. If a headline earned your click, the publisher earns your visit.

How we choose publishers

We pick them by hand, looking for people who cover WordPress properly: how the software itself is built, plugins and themes, security, search, and the business of making a living with it. You can see the full list, and if we are missing someone good, tell us about them.

Ways to read it

The dashboard groups strong cross-publisher coverage, measures topic activity, and keeps every headline searchable. Use All headlines to search and filter, Topics to follow a subject, or the archive to catch up by day and week. You can also take the lot as one RSS feed, or one feed per section.

When a feed breaks

Sites like this break quietly. A publisher moves their feed, nobody notices, and their stories simply stop appearing. So we publish the live status of every publisher we follow, including any that are failing right now. If something looks wrong there, it probably is, and telling us helps.
